MEDIA ALERT: First Annual Tri-County Women’s Empowerment Summit

WHAT

First annual Tri-County Women’s Empowerment Summit. Highlights include: the 2015 Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California by MSMU; Stanford’s Clayman Institute’s research on gender bias; lunch panel presentation from women leaders who powerfully ignite their teams; and a closing networking tea will honor the 2015 Distinguished Woman of the Year.

Chino Police Chief Karen Comstock, will be honored as the 2015 Distinguished Woman of the Year. Presentations by –

  • Congresswoman Grace Napolitano, 32nd CD;
  • State Senator Janet Nguyen, 34th Senate District and
  • Assembly Member Cristina Garcia, 58th Assembly District.

Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 8:00am – 5:30pm.
Lunch panel 12noon – 2:00pm / Closing Tea 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Women comprise over 50% of the population in San Bernardino, Orange County and Los Angeles Counties. The Tri-County Women’s Summit at Fullerton College will share new information, resources and networking opportunities annually.
