The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that granted women the right to vote. The Women’s Empowerment Summit Program provides knowledge about resources and networking opportunities for a cross section of women participants by age, culture and interest including college students, small business owners, nonprofit leaders, community leaders and elected officials to succeed and improve their lives. Each Summit has an expected attendance of 100 women ages 16-80 who seek knowledge about current trends, share resources, and networking regionally with other women.
The Summit’s one-day program is broken into three morning sessions and an awards luncheon. CLLI’s partnership with Californians for Energy Independence is presenting, “Careers in Energy Initiative” breakfast that will inspire high school and college women for a future career in STEM with in the energy industry. Morning sessions will include keynote speakers presenting factual data on gender research, career advancement, industry leaders, trends and data. Following the morning sessions, a formal luncheon program highlights distinguished woman industry leaders as role models of success.
